Health and Safety
A Risk assessment is carried out to identify potential hazards to persons and property we
then find ways to minimise those risks and to ensure a safe system of work.

A Method Statement can be produced if required.

Climbing and rigging equipment is regularly inspected, records are kept conforming with
the HSE ‘Lifting Operations and Lifting equipment Regulations 1998’ (LOLER) and with
the 'Provision and use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998' (PUWER).

We are fully insured, public/products liability insurance to £5,000,000 and employers
liability cover to £10,000,000, with Trust Insurance Services Ltd, 01604 492 644

Staff are traned and as appropriate, qualified and hold relevant NPTC certificates, we
work to British standard 3998.

All staff work in accordance with the guidelines set out in the Arboricultural Associations’
publication ‘A Guide to Good Climbing Practice’ and the HSE Working at Height
Regulations 2005.

Our staff are trained to deal with situations requiring First Aid.

All our machinery and equipment is regularly checked and conforms to the necessary
guidlines.
