Our Tree Services
Arbcore are tree surgeons who are passionate about tree care for homes and businesses in Builth Wells.
Take a look at our services to discover more:
Felling or section felling - If we can remove a tree in one go then we always try to do this, but if obstacles are present, we use our pulley and rope system to fell the tree in sections.
Crown thinning - By removing the dead and damaged limbs of a tree, extra light can pass through the canopy, which can benefit the people and wildlife beneath the tree.
Pollarding - This more extreme method of pruning is usually used when overgrowth of a tree could do damage to infrastructure such as power cables.
Crown reduction - We can get rid of up to a quarter of the outer branches to help wildlife and allow more sun to pass through.
Crown raising - This is another way to allow more sunlight to pass through a tree canopy but we remove some of the lower branches with this service.
Landscaping
- Fencing, excavations, decking, paving, raised vegetable beds and ponds are among our landscaping services.
Garden maintenance - We cut lawns, plant, pressure-wash, cut trees and hedges on a one-off basis or more regularly, depending on your circumstances.
Forestry services - Arbcore clears bridleways and paths, regeneration sites, provide riparian regeneration and control invasive weeds.
Our Process
The first stage will be to carry out a site visit so that we can meet you, see the trees, and come to an agreement on how to carry out the work that needs to be done. We will then send you a written quotation via post or email. If we are all agreed, we will attend your site and introduce you to the team. We have to sign off on a variety of protocols, including tree preservation, wildlife protection, risk assessments and health and safety. If we can safely proceed, we carry out the work and clean up any mess once everything is done, ensuring your happiness that the project has gone as planned. Landscaping projects follow a similar pattern but will include detailed plans and drawings that you can ask for at any time during the process.
